CUTTING SENSITIVITY: plants species known to be highly sensitive to oils as a dip for unrooted cuttings include poinsettia, zonal geranium, petunia, mandevilla, dipladenia, garden mums, osteospermums, mini-roses and calibrachoa. Plants may be less sensitive once rooted. ALWAYS TEST BEFORE USING ON A WIDE SCALE. (Reference: Label, VRIC testing).
APPLICATION NOTE: When used as a cutting dip on plants that are sensitive to applications of mineral oil, after removal from the Landscape Oil, cuttings should be submerged in fresh water for at least 1 minute to remove excess oil. This will help minimize the risk of phytotoxicity but may also reduce efficacy against the target pests.
