Safer's Insecticide Soap Concentrate

PHYTOTOXICITY: Insecticidal soaps are known to cause phytotoxicity on many plant species. Always check label of individual product used. Sensitivity varies with plant varieties. If concerned about sensitivity of plants, test on small area (including seedlings and transplants). Do not spray when plants are under stress. Avoid spraying during full sun. Spray early in morning or evening or when overcast.

PHYTOTOXICITY: Plants with known sensitivity includes poinsettia (don't apply after colouring of bracts), sweet peas (nasturium), delicate ferns, azaleas, bleeding heart, camelia, euphorbia, fushia, gardenia, geraniums, impatiens, lantana, ornamental ivy, palms, succulents. Use with care on open blooms (reference: Canadian label). Other sensitive plants include dracena, dieffenbachia, and maybe include some varieties of chrysanthemums, begonias and jade plants (reference: U.S. label). Don't use on newly transplanted or newly rooted plants.
