    Broadcast the bait on the soil around or near the trees to be protected, by hand or using a granular insecticide spreader or drop spreader. Bait can be placed in a ring around the base of individual trees. Use the high rate for severe infestations. Reapply after heavy rain or watering, or every 4 weeks.
    The product works best when soil is moist but with little or no standing water. Bait may be placed directly on ant hills and trails. Do not place in piles
